MAKE AND ASSEMBLE bunny face
- Roll pink fondant into one oval shaped ball about 1/8" wide x 1/4" long.
- Use paintbrush to brush one side lightly with water and attach to center of cupcake. This will be the nose.
- Roll white fondant into two thin stips about 1/2" square. Place these teeth on the head, about 1/4" below nose.
- Roll pink fondant into two egg-shaped balls that will form the cheeks.
- Use a wooden toothpick or skewer to make the small indentions that give the cheeks dimension.
- Brush back-sides lightly with water and attach at 45 degree angles just below the nose and on top of the upper part of the teeth.
- For ears, roll out pink fondant and cut into slightly rounded, ear-shaped triangles. Bend their tops slightly forward to give them shape. Let dry.
- Brush water lightly on back of the bottom edge of ears to attach.
- Prepare piping bags with white and black frosting. If using a zipper bag, be sure to snip just a tiny corner off the bag so that the lines are delicate.
- Use white frosting to pipe two small circles for eyes and three straight lines on each side of the nose for whiskers.
- Pipe black icing onto centers of eyes and eyebrows.
